What Are Incidental Gallstones

Asymptomatic Gallstones are gallstones which does not cause any symptoms. These are found incidentally during routine ultrasound abdomen. Literature suggest that complication rates are very less, and these can be left alone unless symptomatic. Most of the Oncologist also believe that incidence of Gallbladder cancer due to incidental gallstones is very rare and is not an indication for surgery.
